The system can control orientation of heavy suspended loads onboard a floating vessel, and align movements of the suspended load with a fixed or floating foundation.
The system is controlled by our patented software, developed by our key experts, with hands-on experience, and operated by our custom radio controller.
This enables simple and intuitive operation of complex tasks - mitigating the risk of operator failures.
Can be used for:
· Taglines for installation of wind turbines from fixed & floating vessel
· Taglines for installation of floating wind turbines from fixed & floating vessel
· Taglines for orientation of TP's from fixed & floating vessel
· Taglines for orientation of OSP TP's from fixed & floating vessel
· High speed taglines for all lifts from floating vessel or jack-up

Functionality:
Manual modeManual mode is available by joystick
Dynamic Position Mode (Auto)
In auto mode, both winches consequently maintain the position reference ensuring a stable non-rotation load.
Dynamic movements are compensated by directing torque to the winch with the highest load.
When/if the load is to be rotated, rotationis performed by adjusting the position setpoint simply by operating the joystick
Follow mode
In Follow mode, both winches consequently maintain the position reference ensuring a stabile non-rotation load in a very precise way down to 1500 kg and will follow the load movements
Dynamic movements are compensated by directing torque to the winch with the highest load.
When/if the load is to be rotated, rotation is performed by adjusting the position setpoint simply by operating the joystick.
Adaptive Tension DP mode
In AT / DP mode, the DP software is running subsequently.
When the load is in correct position, the AT / DP mode is activated.
This activates full torque at 0-speed, at “setpoint wireout reading” enabling the winches to maintain position at activation/existing load, up to full capacity.
If the system capacity is overloaded, the winches will pay out at minimum speed.
During Adaptive tension mode, the operator manually controls the load by joystick.
The joystick adjusts the speed setpoint, activating pay in/pay out of the winches.
CTS mode
CTS functionality upgrades the existing AT/DP mode to include active compensation and dampening functionality. (Mode Only available on CTS winches)
The CTS software is designed to actively compensate vessel and load motions, ensuring that the load has a fixed position in relation to the vessel.
Active compensation is performed by feedforward motion sensors mounted on the load, enabling the winches to compensate/dampen load motions – while DP mode runs subsequently for ensuring precise and steady rotation control.
